Florida Home Builders Association Honors Ron Lieberman With The Dick Baker Award
For Immediate Release:
October 17, 2015 – The Florida Home Builders Association honored Ron Lieberman of Steel Structures of Florida with the Dick Baker Award, a recognition awarded by over 7,500 FHBA members across the state. The award is named in the honor of the Northeast Florida Building Association Past President who demonstrated incredible courage and a fighting spirit while suffering from a disease that claimed his life and recognizes individuals who showed the same remarkable resolve in dealing with lifeโs adversities.
The award, which is a respected tradition for twenty-one years, was presented on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, during the FHBA Fall Leadership Conference at the PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Lieberman is a third-generation home builder and developer. He is a FHBA Past President and a two-time President of the Citrus County Builders Association and a former chairman of the Citrus County Affordable Housing Authority and the Advisory Committee to the Tampa Bay Regional Transportation Authority.
โWhile we all face difficulties in life, Ron has admirably addressed personal and professional hardship with quiet strength and honorable poise,โ said Rusty Payton, FHBA CEO/Chief Lobbyist. โWe are proud to recognize a fellow member of our industry for his determination and unwillingness to relent.โ
