On behalf of the Florida Home Builders Association, we want to thank you for the support and response to action during the 2016 Legislative Session. FHBA worked hard this past session to create a favorable climate for the Development and Home Building industry in Florida. Passage of HB 535 (the Building Code Bill) scales back government intrusion, cuts unnecessary red-tape, minimizes construction delays and reduces the cost of building a new home in Florida.
