The DEP/FOWA have agreed to hold a workshop on the latest Florida Springs Protection actions. If you used for onsite sewage treatment and disposal (OSTD), and you are in a spring protection zone, you’ll understand the workshops importance and will want to attend. The new requirements are significant and costly. For all other FHBA members that are not impacted directly, but utilize OSTD’s on your sites, you should plan to attend as well as these new requirements might be in your future.
