Winter Park Local, Paul Gidus, Named Remodeler of the Year, Florida Home Builders Association

The Florida Home Builders Association honored Paul Gidus, of PSG Construction, LLC, as its 2018 Remodeler of the Year, a recognition awarded by over 8,000 FHBA members across the state. Selected by a council of industry leaders, the award encourages best practices, expertise, and exceptional leadership qualities in a Florida remodeler.

The award, which is a respected tradition for twenty-five years, will be presented on Saturday, October 6, 2018, during the FHBA Fall Leadership Conference at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Bonita Springs, Florida.

For thirty-plus-years, Gidus, a Certified Graduate Remodeler, and his company have provided renovations and interior remodeling for clients and beyond. Gidus served as Manager for pro bono projects that provide rehabilitation to local facilities in his surrounding community, as well as a volunteer Team Leader on multiple home-building/rebuilding trips in Mexico. His company, in addition, participates by donating materials and vehicles for these efforts.

โ€œRemodeling breathes life back into homes, communities, and the building industry at-large,โ€ said Rusty Payton, FHBA CEO/Chief Lobbyist. โ€œRemodelers have helped revitalize our state and we are proud to recognize Paul for his outstanding career accomplishments.โ€

Established in 1949, the Florida Home Builders Association is affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and Florida’s local/regional homebuilder associations. FHBA, along with its affiliates, work to create the best possible economic and regulatory environment for members to succeed.
