With great sadness, the Florida Home Builders Association informs you of the passing of debi Peterson, Executive Officer of Flagler Home Builders Association.
Deborah “debi” Peterson began her tenure at Flagler Home Builders Association in January 2001 and helped Flagler become one of the fastest growing areas in the nation. Her strength and leadership combined with her humor and dedication helped support the building industry through the recession.
During debi’s leadership, Flagler HBA was awarded 25 National Association of Home Builders Association of Excellence awards, and won national numerous membership drives. In 2004, debi was named the NAHB New Executive of the Year.
In 2016, debi was named the Florida Home Builder Association’s Dick Baker recipient for her relentless leadership of the Flagler HBA while going through personal tragedy of losing her father and battling cancer.
debi’s memory will live on through her husband Robert, daughter Holly, grandson Landen and a new grandson due in December plus her Flagler HBA, FHBA and NAHB family.
