The Building Association of South Florida (BASF) is hosting its’ 75th Anniversary and Installation Gala on Saturday, May 11, 2019.
Our 75th Annual Installation evening will be held at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel, downtown Miami, with the induction of President Jose M. Gonzalez. Jose is the Executive Vice President of Florida East Coast Industries. (FECi). FECi is part of the group that has built the train service, formerly known as Brightline, from Miami to West Palm Beach. Recently re-branded as Virgin Trains, another expanse of rail service will continue to Orlando, which is scheduled for completion in 2022.
Established in 1944, BASF is very proud of its long history as the legislative voice of the development and construction industry in South Florida. As our membership has changed over the years, from single-family to condominium, multi-family and commercial, we have grown and changed with our membership – always looking to serve a dynamic, ever-changing industry helping people build communities people love to live in.
