Columbia County Builders Association is excited about their upcoming Parade of Homes April 27th and 28th, 2019. A number of years ago the Parade of Homes was an annual event but when the economy took a downturn we postponed it. Now that we are up and rolling again, plus with all the interest and enthusiasm from last year’s event – this year it will give the community a super opportunity to see what the custom builders have to offer.
The homes today are more energy efficient every year and surprisingly, affordable. The “smart house” idea is very popular referencing the wireless internet and communication systems, security systems and even the digitally controlled a/c and heating systems. These systems can all be controlled from a phone app.
Open floor plans are quite popular but we will have houses of all sizes, various floor plans in different price ranges.
