Florida Home Builders Association Honors Alberto Milo, Jr., With Its Mike Davis Affordable Housing Award

October 17, 2015 – The Florida Home Builders Association honored Alberto Milo, Jr., of The Related Urban Development Group, with its Mike Davis Affordable Housing Award, a recognition awarded by over 7,500 FHBA members across the state. Selected by a council of industry leaders, the award honors an individual who has shown exemplary service and dedication to continually secure the Sadowski Affordable Housing Trust Fund, which provides additional funding to home owners who may otherwise may not be able to own a home.
The award was presented to Milo on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, during the FHBA Fall Leadership Conference at the PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Milo’s passion has always been to help meet an underserved housing need, from workforce families to low income residents. Over his twenty-six years in the real estate industry, he has been an integral partner in the foundation of lenders and agencies who support programs for affordable housing. Specifically, under his leadership, the Related Urban Development Group rehabilitated and built over 1,200 permanent supportive housing units throughout Florida.
