FHBA is proud to announce that Governor Scott reappoints former FHBA President Jay Carlson for another term on the Florida Building Commission, with his term ending February 11, 2021. Jay, an active member of the Charlotte-DeSoto Building Industry Association and FHBA, and president of Carlson and Soforth Construction, is one of six appointed by the Governor. The 26-member Commission is responsible for the development, maintenance and interpretation of the Florida Building Code.
