House Votes to Overturn OSHA Recordkeeping Rule

In a victory for home builders and other members of the small business community, the House on March 1 approved H.J. Res. 83, legislation sponsored by Rep. Bradley Byrne (R-Ala.) that would overturn the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) recordkeeping rule known as the Volks rule.

Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) has introduced a companion bill in the Senate.
