October 17, 2015 – The Florida Home Builders Association honored Zac Extejt as its 2015 Builder of the Year, a recognition awarded by over 7,500 FHBA members across the state. Selected by a council of industry leaders, the award encourages best practices, expertise, and exceptional leadership qualities in a Florida builder.
The award, which is a respected tradition for over forty years, was presented on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, during the FHBA Fall Leadership Conference at the PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Extejt building expertise is evident from his portfolio of work including Fishermen’s Village, Casey Key, Grande Preserve, and Palm Island Marina. Aside from his outstanding career, Extejt received the FBHA Builder of the Year Award as a result of his civic and industry relationships, where he serves on the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce, Florida Marine Contractors Association, and Englewood Board of Realtors, while supporting the Future Builders of America and Port Charlotte High School Athletics. Extejt is also a dedicated leader within the building industry; serving since 2006 on local and state builders association boards and committees.
“The FHBA is proud to recognize Zac for his outstanding career accomplishments,” said Rusty Payton, FHBA CEO/Chief Lobbyist. “He is a true leader in the building industry and we applaud him.”
