Stuart Local, Ronnie Kirchman, Named 2017 Builder of the Year, Florida Home Builders Association
For Immediate Release:
The Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA) honored Ronnie Kirchman, president of Kirchman Construction Co., as its 2017 Builder of the Year, a recognition awarded by over 7,900 FHBA members across the state. Selected by a council of industry leaders, the award encourages best practices, expertise, and exceptional leadership qualities in a Florida builder.
The award, which is a respected tradition for over forty years, will be presented on Saturday, October 21, 2017, during the FHBA Fall Leadership Conference at the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
Kirchman, aside from his commitment to building exceptional homes for clients, is dedicated to growing the industry workforce. He serves as a member of the Treasure Coast Builders Association (TCBA) Charitable Fund Scholarship program and dedicates his time and talents to the Future Builders of America (FBA), where he was a Leadership Camp Volunteer and serves on the FBA South Fork High School Advisory Board. FBA engages in construction educational activities and helps youth understand and pursue rewarding careers in construction.
As a member of the federated builder organizations, the TCBA, FHBA, and the National Association of Home Builders, Kirchman focuses on the success and growth of the building industry in Florida. This year, specifically, he served as Chair of the FHBA Membership Committee, coordinating with volunteers, leaders, and staff to experience a successful year, securing Florida as the third largest Home Builders Association in the nation.
โIn addition to his homebuilding commitments, Kirchman expends a great deal of energy and resources to ensure that FHBA and TCBA are successful,โ said Rusty Payton, FHBA CEO/Chief Lobbyist. โWe express our sincerest gratitude to Ronnie for his dedicated leadership. Under his tutelage as Membership Chair, FHBA is recognized as one of the fastest growing state Home Building Associations. He is a true leader in the building industry and we applaud him.โ
